Grace TV Hits 50%
March 15, 2010
ST CATHARINES, ON – Grace TV has taken a large step forward. On June 1st, 2009 World Impact Ministries (WIM) purchased The Christian Channel (TCC), the largest 24/7 Christian TV-channel in Canada. At the time of purchase TCC covered 30% of English Canadian households. The channel was renamed Grace TV in September 2009, and it has added a thousand or more homes every week. Today, on March 15th, Grace TV hits 50 % of the English speaking homes in Canada when Shaw Cable launches Grace TV’s signal on channel 166.
Peter Youngren, CEO and President of Grace TV, says he is committed to continue to build a viable Christian television channel in Canada. Grace TV is focused on creating a strong spiritual voice of goodwill and friendship. “Agreement with Shaw Cable is a wonderful opportunity for Grace TV. Our call center receives many inquiries from people living in Western Canada. Each encourages Grace TV to air on Shaw Cable. We are very happy to tell them they can now watch Grace TV on Shaw Cable channel 166”, he says.
This is a historic Canadian event. Grace TV is the first 24/7 Christian channel to be accepted on Shaw Cable. Grace TV will be available on additional providers in the coming months.
